How to get through Relationship Break-ups

Lets face is, lots of couples break-up. Its mostly because of intense fighting, arguments, and disagreement. Lots of people feel VERY sad after a break-up. Here, I'll show you how to forget about it, to stop the pain.

1. Change your style. Many couples convert to their partners style. So change it

2. Change your Music. Lots of people listen to sad songs after a breakup. This will only cause more pain to the heart.

3. Leave all the memories of him/her behind. This will help alot. Dont even think about him/her. Its not worth it anymore, and it will just cause more stress/pain.

4. Have a positive attitude. When in a breakup, people have a really negative attitude. Just stay positive. Everything will be alright.

5. Do something to take the mind off the breakup. Take a jog, walk the dogs, exercise! When people do this, they are adapting a positive attitude.

So what I want you to do is post a reply for if you've been in a breakup. Dont worry, NO ONE is going to laugh, or think about you in a different way.

Ok, basically going to get a thread going for film reviews so that people can come and check here if they're unsure of whether to see a film or not. If everyone just replies with their reviews, I'll edit them in, in alphabetical order so it's easy for everyone to find. If this thread works out, we should end up with a strong list of reviews that will help people decide on what to watch either on dvd or at the cinema. The films can be as old or new as you like- it isn't just recent films!

So what do you need to do? Just give the name of the film, a star rating out of 5, and a short comment about what you think of the film. (ie 30 days of night * Worst film ever, so slow, acting was terrible) We don't want to end up with huge essays on each film, but personal opinions are needed. At first it will just be a case of everyone adding one or two films at a time, maybe your favourite film, and hopefully after a while people will add films after watching them, and we'll build up a good, useful thread.

I'll start off and then leave it to you guys. Any reviews would be appreciated, even if it's just one. Hopefully this thread will be of use to all of us.

30 days of night * Worst film ever, so slow, acting was terrible
7 Pounds was no bad.. would have helped if i had a rough idea what it was about before i started watching it
Big Nothing **** Really Good Movie! Simon Pegg is top class. Quite A lot of twists as well. Well made.
The Children **** Seriously creepy film psycho children, decent plot and some gripping moments, see if you liked Children of the Corn
Creep * One of those films that stick in my head. I have no idea how it was even made into a film and sold. Plot is shite and seriously lacks dialogue.
The curse of Benjamin Button **** Slow to start, by very good - Similar to notebook. If you liked that, you'll like this
The Dark Knight ***** Heath Ledgers portrail of the Joker makes this film an instant classic. The best superhero movie of all time, and by far the darkest.
Date Movie * Shockingly Bad! Only bit I laughed at was the bit at the start when the man shot himself in the head with the nail gun. That probably would of felt better that watching Date Movie
The day the earth stood still **** Quality remake of the 50's classic. Reeve's is perfectly cast as the emotionless, cold Klaatu sent to judge the Earth. Top-notch CGI and decent story. Worth watching.
The Devil Wears Prada *** Great film and well acted. Meryl Streep plays the bitch very well, she's worthy of her Oscars.
Die Hard ***** One of the greatest action movies of all time.
Dirty Dancing ***** Ultimate chic flick. Every girl has to see it.
Edward Scissorhands ***** Amazing Movie! Funny and touching. My Favorite Johnny Depp movie.
Flightplan **** Very itense- keeps you hooked. Seems difficult to believe that one plane journey can fill nearly 2 hours film time.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall *** Funny, but didn't really seem to have much of a plot to it.
The Godfather ***** Rarely can it be said that a film has defined a genre, but never is that more true than in the case of The Godfather. Since the release of the 1972 epic (which garnered ten Academy Award nominations and was named Best Picture), all "gangster movies" have been judged by the standards of this one.
The Godfather Part II ***** Garnered as much adulation as its predecessor, if not more. Receiving twelve Academy Award nominations, and again winning Best Picture, the second installment has been rightfully hailed as the best sequel of all time, and is considered the 'perfect movie'.
Goodfellas ***** There are essentially two kinds of Mafia movies: those that romanticize the life and those that depict it with gut-wrenching clarity. The best known and most accomplished of these films, The Godfather, stakes out its territory firmly in the first area, leaving Goodfellas to stand atop the other.
Hot Fuzz ** Has it's funny moments but all the humour is in the trailer, hopes up for a good film then deflated. Watch the trailor and say 6.
King Kong - ** How can a gorilla fall in love with a person?
Knocked up **** Dead funny, great to watch with mates
Love Actually * Don't get the big deal with this film at all. Extremely overrrated.
Mamma Mia ***** A feel-good movie. There's a fair few laughs and it's bound to get you singing or up dancing in the cinema.
Man Overboard * Not funny at all, One of Adam Sandlers poorest movies.
The Marine *** Wasnt that good tbfh, it was as intrestin as a badger in heat.
Meet Dave **** Some funny moments gets boring towards the end but picks itself back up.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail ***** This motion picture represents one of the best and brightest comedies ever to shine from the silver screen.
Monty Python's Life of Brian **** Represents some of the most daring and cutting edge comedy of the 1970s.
The notebook ***** Favourite film ever, so romantic, will have you in tears
Pearl Harbour ***** Don't really like war films but loved this. Will have you in floods of tears.
Pretty Woman ***** A must-have for the girls.
PS I Love You ** Didn't enjoy the film as I felt it changed too much of the book.
The Pursuit of Happiness **** I found this film very moving and again, great acting from Will Smith. He should have won an Oscar for this film.
RocknRolla **** Good film, surprisingly un-violent well worth a watch though. Will be interesting to see what they do in the sequels.
Saving Private Ryan ***** Devastating. So forceful that no one who sees it will be able to forget it.
Schindler's List ***** Despite the grisly subject matter, this movie is essentially about uncovering a kernel of hope and dignity in the midst of a monstrous tragedy. Extremely moving.
Sex and The City Movie **** Loads of laughs, ideal to watch with you friends and a glass of wine <3
The Spirit **** Another knock out from Frank Miller, Superb casting with luscious visuals and entertaining screen play make this essential viewing for any fan of comic book hero's. See if you liked 300 or Sin City.
The Shawshank Redemption ***** Not only is this a great prision film, it is a great character film.
Taken ***** Didn't expect this to be as good as it was, great plot.
Taken ***** Like Violence?? You'll love this, no holds barred violence from veteran actor Liam Neeson, probably his finest work to date, it even has some soppiness to keep the wife engrosed.
Taken ***** When his daughter is kidnapped while touring Europe with her best friend, Brian (Neeson) roars into action in a bid to save her. Awesome choreography and no-nonsense, brutal, fight scenes will please any action fiend with a touching storyline for the missus to coo over.
Taxi Driver ***** Features Robert De Niro in top form. As good as the actor has been elsewhere, this picture marks the apex of his superlative career.
Team America **** "MATT DAMON", "Everyone Has Aids, Aids, Aids, Aids!!", You need a sense of humour for this film, so daft it's brilliant.
Transformers ***** Amazing movie based on the hit cartoon, Worth watching for Megan Fox alone.
Transporter 3 ***** Statham is back as bad-ass Frank Martin and he pulls it off in style, excellent story with some brilliantly choreographed fight scenes, story slows down a little bit in places.
Twilight *** Teen Vampire love story, nearly kept me away from this gem full stop but I was pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous cast and the well written adaptation from the book. Very dark, moody and atmospheric, but lacking in action and blood for a vampire film.
War of The Worlds **** Not my type of film, but was very gripping. Really enjoyed it.
We own the night *** Good plot, quite gripping
The Wrestler **** Would be very shocked if Micky Rourke doesn't get at least an Oscar nomination for this, brilliantly acted and directed.
Zack and Miri make a porno ***** In my eyes, Kevin Smith can do no wrong. Loved every minute.
